SALES TAX COLLECTION FIGURES RELEASED FOR CROSSVILLE
Sales tax collections in Crossville last month was the highest recorded for a July since fiscal year 2012/2013. That is according to the city manager’s report to the Crossville City Council at their meeting last night. The city took in $740,901. In wholesale beer tax for last month, the city collected $55,577. That is down from nearly $20,000 the same time last year. In hotel occupancy taxes, Crossville collected $16,981. That was the highest figure for a month since September of last year.
