SANDY CREEK ROAD HOME BURGLARIZED AFTER NEW YEAR’S SHOOTING

A home that was the site of a fatal shooting early New Year’s Day has been burglarized, according to Cumberland County deputies. Sometime between the time of the shooting and Friday evening, someone broke into the home on the 100 block of Sandy Creek Road and stole two electric guitars, a classical guitar, twelve rifle scopes, a Canon gun safe, a Husqvarna riding mower and a collection of arrowheads. The value of the items was placed at $6,800. Two possible suspects were identified. Police have not indicated how access was gained to the home.
