SEARCH CONTINUES FOR BRANDENBURG AND GREEN, NEW DETAILS RELEASED

A van tied to an Amber Alert for a missing Roane County teenager was found yesterday abandoned in Hamilton County.

The 2006 Honda Odyssey van 17-year-old Haley Nicole Brandenburg and 31-year-old Robert Andrew Green were traveling in was found in a parking lot of Chattanooga Periodontics & Dental Implants. That is at Riverfront Parkway and West MLK Boulevard in downtown Chattanooga.

A statewide AMBER Alert was issued Thursday night and remains in effect by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on behalf of the Rockwood Police Department for Brandenburg. She has a medical condition and does not have access to her medication. She was last seen in Rockwood wearing tan Adidas pants with a pink stripe down the side and a green Subway shirt. Brandenburg wears glasses and has braces. She is believed to be in the company of Garren.

TBI agents say they believe the pair is likely in Hamilton County, but now could be anywhere in the listening area.

According to NewsChannel 9 in Chattanooga, Brandenburg’s mother told a reporter that Haley was in a “friend relationship” with Garren.

According to the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office, Garren is from Rhea County, and authorities there are keeping an eye out for the two as well. The van that the two used to get to Chattanooga and later abandoned was registered in Rhea County. Garren also has family in McMinn County that told officers they have not seen him since the alert went out.

Garren is now facing criminal charges in connection with the Amber Alert.

If you have any information on where these two are, call 911.
