A search for a missing Fentress County man has officially been suspended after a near month-long quest to locate him. Authorities say 56-year-old Danny Ray Hall of Jamestown has been missing since October 14. Hall was reportedly dropped off by a friend at the end of Sam Beaty Road around 9 a.m. that day to go ginseng hunting, and was last seen by a hunter in a tree stand on top of the bluff going west. Despite the search being suspended, crews will again try to see if they can locate Hall this Saturday (November 11, 2017). Anyone who might have any information about Hall is asked to call the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office at (931) 879-8142.
