SHOTS FIRED ON JACKSON ROAD RESULTS IN THE ARREST OF EVANS

Earlier this week, Cumberland County deputies responded to a home on Jackson Road for shots fired. According to the report, officers found 36-year-old Patrick Lee Evans of Monterey on the kitchen floor with bloody feet and several lacerations. Evans supposedly got into an altercation with a man during a dice game when firearms were produced and shots were fired. Deputies checked the home and found bullet holes and weapons. Evans was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries then taken to jail on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, theft of property and possession of a firearm while under the influence. Evans was initially placed under $55,000 bond.
