Six people have been arrested in Blount County on drug charges. Deputies responded to a church parking lot on Piney Level Church Road to a call about a passed-out, partially clothed man. Officers found 31-year-old Danny McTaggart of Tallassee, Tennessee, who reportedly admitted to using meth. Deputies say McTaggart had been at a home on Whites Mill Road earlier in the day. When they went to the address, they said they found 63-year-old David Carver and 34-year-old Andy Harvey in a vehicle in the driveway, allegedly using drugs. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed 6.1 grams of meth. Deputies also located 29-year-old Cameron Rigsby, 44-year-old Jackie Stillwell and 25-year-old Robert Bayless inside the home. All three were arrested on outstanding warrants. All were taken to the Blount County Jail.
