SIX INJURED IN HEAD-ON CRASH IN MORGAN COUNTY
Six people were injured in a recent two-vehicle accident in Morgan County. Troopers say 19-year-old Brandon Moore of Harriman was heading east on Heidel Road when his 2005 Santa Fe crossed over the center line and hit a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Colby Justes of Wartburg in an offset head-on collision. Justes’ vehicle came to rest along a ditch, while Moore’s vehicle went into a spin, ejecting all five occupants. Justes, Moore and his passengers – 19-year-old Thomas Carroll, 22-year-old Scotty Kennedy, 23-year-old Michael Francis and 41-year-old Tracie Kennedy – sustained injuries. Three air medical helicopters were used to transport the injured for treatment.
