STEVE NORRIS WEATHER – 22 DEGREES TONIGHT

A strong cold front moved across our area around midnight bringing strong thunderstorms and then ushering in much cooler air. Hail up to 1 inch in diameter was reported in Overton, Pickett, Putnam and Fentress counties as the Squall line moved through. Over a half inch of rain fell in Crossville. A hard freeze is coming tonight with temperatures dipping to near 22 degrees. Sunday is looking sunny with a high near 48. Rain move back in for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with warmer temperatures . Highs in the 50s on Monday and 60s Tuesday. The national high temperature on Friday was 95 at McAllen Texas and the low temperature this morning was 13 below Pinedale Wyoming
