STEVE NORRIS WEATHER – MUCH COOLER

There were several small tornado touchdowns in Middle Tennessee Wednesday morning and the Weather Service will do storm surveys on Thursday and I will report back to you then, one of the tornadoes may have touched down near Cookeville. We settle into a pretty quiet weather pattern now with fair to partly cloudy skies all the way through the weekend. Afternoon highs only in the forties and low temperatures dipping into the twenties. We will climb up into the 50s over the weekend and low sixties by Monday. The national high temperature on Wednesday was 89 at Brownsville Texas and the low 11 below at Big Piney Wyoming
