Lots to talk about on this first full day of summer . Tropical storm Cindy will bring rain and thunder showers and Gusty wind to Tennessee for the next couple of days. South to South East Wind could gust over 30 miles an hour especially Thursday night and Friday into Friday night . A few severe thunderstorms will be possible on Friday and there could even be a tornado threat in the southern portion of the state, all kinds of bad weather with this system will affect Tennessee so keep up-to-date and I will be updating you frequently over the next couple of days. Things will improve over the weekend with the chance of rain dropping to 40% Saturday and 20% Sunday, also cooler air will move in with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. This is common on the backside of a tropical storm so temperatures will be below normal for the next 5 days.
