STORM DAMAGE REPORTS FROM SEVERE WEATHER ON MAY 4, 2021

The National Weather Service issued their first report of damage from a line of severe weather that hit this morning. In Cumberland County, trees were blown down in Pleasant Hill and Fairfield Glade as well as on Potato Farm and Peavine Firetower Road. In Morgan County, several went down along Highway 62 in the Chestnut Ride community. In Bledsoe County, several homes sustained damage around Pikeville with at least one destroyed by what is being blamed on straight line winds. Roane County also reported several trees down in areas.
