STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE MONDAY, JUNE 21, 2021
The National Weather Service says nearly all of Tennessee is under a marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms later today and into the early evening hours. This includes the Cumberland Plateau and down in the valley. The state is under a marginal risk.
Storms will start to develop by midday over the northwest, moving east through the early afternoon and evening hours. Damaging winds up to 60 miles per hour and localized flooding are the main concerns. A tornado is unlikely, but not ruled out.
