STUDENTS AT LENOIR CITY HIGH WALK OUT TO TALK OF SCHOOL SECURITY

Many students at Lenoir City High School walked out of class this morning to voice their concerns regarding school security. The students gathered at the flag pole to remember 17 individuals who were killed in last weeks school shooting in Florida and about ways to end violence. 105.7 News wants to stress that Lenoir City High School officials knew of the planned walk out before it happened and granted it to allow the students time to speak out. Some students said this morning they wanted additional security around campus and security screenings at the entrances to the school. Others wanted everyone to get along and end bullying.
