105.7 News confirmed this morning that a man charged with solicitation for rape of a child in Roane County is under investigation in Cumberland County. An officer said the two cases are NOT related involving 23-year-old Terance E. Rose of Rockwood. Even though Rose has a Rockwood address, he resides in extreme eastern Cumberland County. No more information was released regarding the Cumberland County investigation.

Rose was recently arrested in Harriman after showing up to a home of a woman he knew to allegedly have sex with a three-year-old girl. The woman previously contacted law enforcement who were there waiting for Rose to arrive. Once there, Rose reportedly admitted to officers of his intentions.

As of this morning, Rose continues to be held in the Roane County jail under $100,000 bond.
