At 7:30 Sunday morning, deputies responded to an incident in the Cumberland County jail. Thirty-year-old inmate Tiffani Lee Taylor struck another female inmate with a hard-plastic food tray, causing a wound to the other woman’s head.

While a correctional officer was separating the two, Taylor again attempted to strike the other woman.

Taylor was charged with felony aggravated assault and assault.
