TDOT TO HOLD ELECTRONIC ROAD SIGN CONTEST AGAIN
It worked so well last year that the Tennessee Dept. of Transportation is doing it again. TDOT will again hold a contest inviting participants to send in their ideas on the best safety messages to be displayed on electric interstate signs. The contest is held so that motorists themselves can participate in urging people to drive safely. Last year’s winner was “Texting and driving, oh cell no!” You can choose one of five different categories to enter. They include Speeding, distracted riving, impaired driving, seat belts and aggressive driving. The contest begins on January 30th.
