The Tennessee Department of Transportation has completed investigative drilling on a section of I-40 in Roane County on Rockwood Mountain. Mark Nagi with TDOT told 105.7 News plans are in the final stages to make repairs to several cracks that developed especially on the westbound lanes in between mile markers 340 and 347 on the mountain. Construction is scheduled to start this May to repair the roadway.
