The Tennessee Department of Transportation will soon address several cracks on I-40 on Rockwood Mountain in Roane County. Mark Nagi with TDOT told 105.7 News late yesterday the plans are in the final stages to make repairs to several cracks that developed especially on the westbound lanes in between mile markers 340 and 347 on the mountain. There are a few small cracks on the road between this section but a larger one is around the 344 mile marker westbound. Construction is scheduled to start this May to repair the roadway.
