A 16-year-old was killed and two others were hurt in a Warren County vehicle crash last night (Sunday, June 25, 2017) on Highway 70 South. Troopers say the teen was traveling in the westbound lanes of the roadway when 56-year-old Craig Mears, driving the wrong-way, crashed into her 2012 Nissan head-on. The 16-year-old and her 14-year-old passenger had to be cut from the car. Troopers are not releasing the identity of the two teens but both are from Smyrna, Tennessee. The older teen was taken to Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga where she was pronounced dead. Mears remains hospitalized and was last listed in critical condition.
