TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL SCHEDULES REGIONAL SOBRIETY CHECKPOINTS FOR FRIDAY
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has scheduled roadside checkpoints in the Cumberland Plateau area for Friday, Oct. 21st. Sobriety Checkpoints will be held in Cumberland County on Highway 70 West at Browntown Rd. and on Highway 127 at mile marker 26. Troopers will be in Fentress County at Highway 127 at White Oak Rd. and at Ray’s market on Tinchtown Rd. A checkpoint will be setup in Roane County at Highway 27 south of Delozier Lane and in Bledsoe County at Highway 127 at mile marker 1. THP will concentrate efforts on impaired drivers and those committing other motor vehicle violations.
