TENNESSEE SUPREME COURT SIMPLIFIES FORMS FOR UNCONTESTED DIVORCES

It will be easier for married couples with children to file papers for uncontested divorces in Tennessee. In a press release, the Tennessee Supreme Court announced that new forms and instructions have been released that are in plain-language in order to simplify the proceedings for those couples that agree on child support and other matters relative to a divorce such as having no real estate or retirement accounts to divide. The documents have been approved for use in all state courts. The new forms go into effect Jan. 1 and will be available at no cost at http://TNCourts.gov andhttp://TNJusticeForAll.com .
