TENNESSEE TECH TO BREAK GROUND FRIDAY FOR NEW LAB SCIENCES BUILDING
Officials with Tennessee Tech University say that the school’s new Laboratory Sciences Building will be the largest building on campus. Dignitaries will be breaking ground for the new facility this coming Friday. The 164,000 square-foot lab will be the new home for the chemistry and part of the biology departments. The facility comes with a $90 million price tag and construction is expected to be completed in fall 2020. Crossville’s Upland Design Group lead the architectural design team on the project. The building will be located immediately north of the Capital Quad residency halls on the site of the current parking lot, along Stadium Drive.
