GREENE COUNTY, Tenn.—The body found in a cornfield Tuesday morning in Greene County has been identified as a missing juvenile.

According to the Greeneville Police Department, the body of Danielle Owens was discovered. She was reported missing on December 12, 2022. She was only 16 years old.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police said the body has been sent to Johnson City for an autopsy.
