THEFT REPORTED FROM VEHICLE PARKED AT FORMER CROSSVILLE BUSINESS

Wednesday evening, Crossville police responded to the former Ryan’s restaurant on U.S. Highway 127 North. An employee of a nearby auto dealership said he’d parked his vehicle and trailer in the parking lot while he was at work and when he returned, he noticed his black ramps missing from the trailer.

Footage from the dealership shows an older-model blue Chevy Impala pulling up beside the victim’s vehicle; unknown suspects opened the truck’s tailgate and stole the black steel loading ramps from the trailer. An investigation is underway.
