The vehicle had left the vicinity, but officers discovered it parked at a gas station on Old Highway 28. The vehicle had the wrong license tag, and the driver, 48-year-old Tammy Parsons denied a consent search. Later, a K-9 Officer hit on the vehicle and 1.5 grams of meth, along with a filled syringe were found. Used syringes and a burnt spoon were also found. 25-year-old Kayla Michelle Rector was charged with manufacture/delivery/sale of a controlled substance, while Parsons and Hassler were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
