THREE CHARGED IN MAILBOX VANDALIZMS
Two men and one juvenile were arrested after they were caught vandalizing mailboxes in Crossville. Officers responded to calls on Friday at Iris Circle, Mockingbird Dr. and Holiday Dr. for the report of mailboxes being destroyed by occupants of a silver/gold vehicle. The car was stopped for a tail light violation and officers observed concrete block pieces in the front and rear seats, as well as concrete residue on a backpack. Silas P. Clark and Jerimiah P. Baird, both 18 years-of-age, confessed to smashing 15 mailboxes. A 17-year-old also present in the vehicle, was issued a citation and released to his parents while Clark and Baird were charged with nine counts of vandalism. Other charges could be pending.
