THREE FOUND WITH METH, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, AND $2300 IN CASH

Three people face charges from an arrest in Cumberland County Friday. Deputies observed a GEO Tracker on Dunbar Rd. being driven by Barry Keith Lail whom officers knew had a revoked license. According to the report, Lail pretended to stop at the Dollar General Store and then speeded up. Officers pursued Lail onto Lantana Rd. and then onto Taylor’s Chapel Rd, where the GEO escaped two speed strip traps. During this time, deputies watched as the car’s occupants appeared to be throwing objects out of the windows. Lail could not escape a third speed trap on POW Camp Rd. The vehicle left the road and ran into a field. Lail fled on foot but was later caught near Old Highway 70. A search of the vehicle turned up various bits of drug paraphernalia such as pipes and scales. A small amount of meth was also found along with $2300 in cash. Also arrested in the incident were Marissa Nemitz and Kerry Dishman.
