TITANS UNIFORMS TO FEATURE NEW LOOK FOR UPCOMING SEASON
The Tennessee Titans showed off their new-look uniforms yesterday, featuring some subtle changes. This is the first revision since the Titans’ uniforms went through minor tweaks in 2012, with Nike unveiling some new technology, but at the time the look remained essentially the same. The biggest switch comes with the helmet as the Titans are going from white with two navy-blue stripes to navy blue with one stripe in two-toned silver for a sword. The fireball remains on the sides. The Titans will wear navy jerseys at home, white on the road and light blue as the color rush option. The change comes on the shoulders with a two-toned silver stripe mimicking the sword in the team logo along with a new light-blue insert under each arm. There’s a similar two-tone silver stripe on the outside of the pants legs. The numbers feature a point in honor of the state’s northeast corner, with red stars from the Tennessee flag inside the back neckline.
