TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN SEVERAL DRUG CHARGES FOR HAWN

A Cumberland County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a motorist on Dunbar Road this week for the driver not having a valid license. A search of a back pack in the vehicle  20-year-old Baylee Claire Hawn of Crossville was operating allegedly revealed nearly 6 grams of heroin, 42 grams of meth and a large amount of marijuana. Also reportedly found was over 100 pills in a bottle, nearly 30 counterfeit $50 bills and digital scales. Hawn was arrested on two counts each of manufacture, sale and delivery of a Schedule I and II drug and single offenses of manufacture, sale and delivery of a Schedule III, IV, V, and VI drug, She also faces driving without a license and criminal simulation. Hawn was taken to jail and initially placed under a total bond of $75,500.
