Law enforcement in Cumberland County went to a home on Dublin Drive (south of Lake Tansi) this week for a disturbance. The arrest report states a deputy encountered 39-year-old Christopher Wayne Davis after seeing items broken in the dwelling from an altercation with a subject. The officer drew and deployed his taser after Davis stood right in front of him allegedly with a small knife in his hand. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. A check revealed Davis is a convicted felon. He was charged with simple assault on a first responder, domestic assault sand unlawful possession of a weapon.
