A trial has been delayed again for a Cumberland County murder suspect. Court documents state 48-year-old Billy Joe Wannyn of Spencer is accused of the death of 71-year-old Albin Buechel. Wannyn faces an additional charge of aggravated robbery. Buechel’s body was discovered at his home on Seagraves Road in Pleasant Hill in early 2018  after reportedly sustaining several stab wounds. The reason for the latest delay is new attorneys were hired to represent Wannyn in his trial now scheduled for March 4, 2021.
