The Tennessee Highway Patrol released an accident report of a crash on the 9,000 block of Lantana Road in Cumberland County this morning. It states a tractor-trailer operated by 44-year-old Jeremy A. Smith of Knoxville was traveling north close to Flynn’s Cove Road when the right rear tires went off the roadway. It caused the vehicle to overturn blocking both lanes. Smith was hauling slaughter house animal parts that spilled out. Smith was restrained and uninjured. The scene was closed to traffic for hours as crews worked to repair the roadway and clean the area up.
