On Tuesday, June 21, officers were called for a theft that had occurred on Gregory Lane.  The owner of the property has a mechanic shop which is also a junkyard of disabled cars. He stated that on that morning he noticed his floor jack was missing from the driveway where it was the day prior. When he went looking for the floor jack, he found it in a field behind the shop beside a vehicle. He then began checking more of the scrap vehicles and counted twenty vehicles with missing catalytic converters. He believes this happened in the nighttime hours.

No suspects have been identified as of yet.
