TWO ANDERSON COUNTY TEENS CHARGED FOR SOCIAL MEDIA CLOWN THREAT

Two Anderson County teens know what it’s like to make false threats on social media. Authorities say that the 14-and 15-year-old girls made posts that are similar to many across the country involving  clowns who are making threats concerning schools. Both girls have been expelled and are awaiting a hearing by school system officials. The sheriff’s office has released a statement saying that all threats and postings like this “are taken very seriously and anyone posting such pranks will be arrested and charged.”
