Officers with the Fairfield Glade Police Department responded yesterday to a burglary in progress in the Wilshire Hills area. Officers were given a description of the vehicle by the property owner who confronted the suspects while speaking with 911. Within a few minutes, authorities had a perimeter set up around the area and began searching for the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was located less than a mile from crime scene on an unimproved roadway. Police took 41-year-old Gary Paul Graham of Pikeville into custody for burglary and aggravated assault on the property owner. A passenger in the vehicle, 44-year-old Jessica Lynn Laymon of Pikeville, was charged with burglary. Graham was also served two outstanding warrants for violation of probation. Both subjects were booked into the Cumberland County Jail.
