TWO ARRESTED FOR DRUG VIOLATIONS IN CROSSVILLE
Two people were arrested in connection with drugs last week in Crossville. Police made contact with 30-year-old Bruce Andrew Barison on the front porch of a Rose St. home. After Barison was asked to leave, he was observed throwing an item onto the grass. The item was a small plastic bag containing a crystalline substance identified as meth. He was taken into custody. A police officer discovered a small bag containing meth in the rear of his cruiser after transporting 28-year-old Tawnee Lee Cantrell to the Justice Center. Cantrell confessed to having the bag in her bra. While she was being booked, she also told officers that she had a syringe in her pants. The items were recovered and entered into evidence.
