TWO CHARGED WITH HOMICIDE APPEAR IN COURT

Two individuals charged with homicide in Cumberland County appeared in criminal court this week. Officers say 26-year-old Michael Quinn Dale of Crossville allegedly discharged a shotgun at an Old Mail Road home back in January 2017. The projectiles from the shotgun blast went through a wall and struck 21-year-old Kelsey Nicole Brady. Brady passed away from injuries sustained. Dale is charged with reckless homicide and aggravated assault. In the other case, court officials say 36-year-old Meghan Wilson faces vehicular homicide and DUI charges in connection with the May 18, 2017 accident on Highway 127 North that claimed the life of 46-year-old John V. Rowe of Deer Lodge, Tennessee. In court this week, the judge set return court dates for February 26, 2018 for Dale and March 20, 2018 for Wilson where trial dates could possibly be set in the cases.
