TWO INJURED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON CLEAR CREEK ROAD IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY – FOLLOW-UP STORY
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department released a vehicle accident report today of a crash on the 3600 block of Clear Creek Road yesterday afternoon. Deputies say a 1999 Chevy S-10 pickup driven by 36-year-old Lacey D. Freeman of Monterey failed to make a turn, ran off the road and hit a utility pole causing it to break. Power lines came down on a 2019 Toyota Rav4 passing by driven by 61-year-old Denise Cooper of Crossville. Cooper was not hurt. Freeman and a passenger in the truck, 27-year-old Tony J. Davis of Crossville, were both taken by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Freeman was charged with DUI as a result of the crash.
