A house fire occurred at a Harriman Housing Authority duplex at 1738 Bennett Circle in Harriman this morning. The duplex was unoccupied when the fire began. Investigators apprehended two juveniles this afternoon responsible for this morning’s fire. Officers say both confessed in custody to setting the fire. Through this investigation, officers learned the two juveniles were responsible for stealing a car from a dealership in Roane County several weeks earlier. The vehicle was recovered and charges are pending on both cases.
