TWO VEHICLE RELATED THEFTS FROM YESTERDAY

On May 18, 2025, at approximately 4:50 AM, a deputy observed a vehicle’s brake lights activated at a closed auto repair business on Main St in Crossville. Upon investigation, the deputy found a 53-year-old white male suspect, identified as Frank Quince, inside a Volvo, who claimed he intended to buy the vehicle but lacked permission from the owner to be on the property or inside the car.

The owner banned the suspect from the premises, and the suspect was arrested at 5:08 AM, charged with auto burglary, with a court date set for June 9, 2025, and a bond of $10,000. No items were confirmed stolen from the vehicle, and the case remains active.

In a separate incident on the same day, between 11:59 AM and 12:13 PM, a 32-year-old resident of Mullinax Drive in Crab Orchard reported a pair of Costa sunglasses, valued at $150, stolen from her 2015 red Chevrolet vehicle parked at her home.

She identified three possible suspects, all male, aged 38, 38, and 45, but no arrests were made.
