University of Tennessee President Joe DiPietro will present his second State of the University annual address in Nashville today. The address is expected to last one hour beginning at 3 PM. A statement from the university detailed the address’s mission to provide a comprehensive assessment of the university’s recent achievements, challenges and positions on significant issues faced by the school. The program was also scheduled to feature the presentation of the President’s Awards to four employees who made exceptional contributions towards the fulfillment of the university’s mission.
