There will be a planned power outage tomorrow night (Friday, December 1, 2017) in the Fairfield Glade area of Cumberland County beginning at 11 p.m. central and lasting about one hour. VEC says the outage will affect approximately 5000 homes and businesses. During this time, maintenance work will be done to energize the new west Fairfield Glade substation. Calls are going out today and tomorrow to notify the locations affected.
