A single vehicle crash in Cumberland County late Friday night resulted in no injuries. The report from the sheriff’s office states deputies responded to the accident on Midway Road near Spring Gap Road to find no one in the 1999 Jeep Cherokee. Officers discovered multiple open alcohol containers inside the vehicle. A 16-year-old came to the sheriff’s office later to inform them he was the driver involved in the crash. He said he lost control in a curve resulting in the Jeep turning over. The teen stated a 22-year-old male passenger was with him who passed out from alcohol consumption. The report states the teen did not have a driver’s license.
