We will make the transition from Summer to fall at 3:02 p.m. Central Time Friday afternoon but the weather will stay the same right on into early next week. Afternoon highs well into the 80s and above normal for this time of year and at night it drops off into the low-to-mid 60s. The chance for an afternoon or evening thundershower will continue each day. Right around the end of September and the first week of October we will see cooler weather with highs in the sixties and lows in the 40s.
