A registered sex offender classified as violent in Cumberland County found himself back in jail after reportedly violating terms of his release. Deputies were dispatched to a residence at 509 David Crockett Drive to a report of three sex offenders living at the dwelling with one of them wanted by authorities. Officers found 45-year-old Charles Christopher White of Crossville and arrested him for violation of the sex offender registry. Court officials say White was convicted of sexual battery in 1991 and aggravated sexual battery in 2005.
