WALLACE AND SHERRILL ARRESTED FOR THEFT AFTER CONVERTER CUT OFF VEHICLE

Crossville police stopped a driver in a 1999 Toyota yesterday on Peavine Road and a consent search reportedly revealed a catalytic converter cut off the automobile. The report states 27-year-old Jacob Kemmer Wallace was given the keys to the car by 44-year-old Tresha Mae Sherrill. It did not belong to either. Wallace allegedly took it from the parking lot of the hospital emergency room then met back up with Sherrill to return the vehicle after he cut the auto part off. The owner was dropped off at the hospital and was unaware her car was stolen. Wallace and Sherrill were each charged with two counts of theft of property.
