Occasional showers and thunderstorms continuing in our forecast all the way through Friday with occasional heavy rainfall. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and only dropping into the upper 60s at night due to the tropical air. This weekend the rain chances will go down a little and the temperatures will go up a tad. The highest temperature in the United States today was 111 at Death Valley California and the coldest this morning was 28 at Leadville Colorado.
