WHITE COUNTY AUTHORITIES ASKING FOR PUBLIC’S HELP IN HIT AND RUN CASE
The White County Sheriff’s Department needs the public’s help identifying a hit and run driver.
Det. Chris Isom said the incident happened yesterday morning (Tuesday, May 23, 2017) and left a man in the hospital with injuries.
“We had a hit and run on a road named Cole’s Chapel, it’s really about a mile from the Putnam County line. We’re interested in a white SUV, S10 Blazer or GMC Jimmy-type vehicle, or anyone who may have information about the vehicle and who may have been driving,” Isom said.
Isom declined to identify the injured person, only saying they were receiving treatment for injuries at a local hospital. If anyone has any information please contact White County Detective Lindale Smith or the White County Detective’s Division at 931-836-2700.
