The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY that runs from 9 p.m. tonight (Thursday, February 6, 2020) to noon tomorrow (Friday, February, 7, 2020) central time.

The advisory includes the following counties in the coverage area: CUMBERLAND, CLAY, PICKETT, WHITE, FENTRESS, PUTNAM AND OVERTON

Snow is now expected in the advisory area. Total snow accumulations of one to two inches on the Cumberland Plateau and one quarter to one half inch else in the advisory. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
