WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ISSUED BY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY effective Monday, February 1, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. and is scheduled to expire at 6 p.m. central, Monday, February 1, 2021. The advisory is for the following counties:
IN TENNESSEE – CUMBERLAND, BLEDSOE MORGAN, FENTRESS, PICKETT, OVERTON, WHITE, PUTNAM and VAN BURN
IN SOUTHERN MIDDLE KENTUCKY – WAYNE, CLINTON and CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The weather service says snow is expected with total accumulations of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute Monday.
